Sun Tyre Industries Sdn Bhd (”Sun Tyre”)
Sun Tyre recycled tyre casings into high quality replacement tyres that can deliver as much reliability, durability and performance as a new tyre. Each and every retreaded tyre is designed to reduce the total commercial vehicle operating cost, reduce scrap tyre disposal and save natural resources and energy.
The success of Sun Tyre is the culmination of more than 50 years of meticulous planned development, operation re-engineering and smart partnership with other companies.
The company is located in Seremban town, Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus state of Malaysia, and was established in 1957 under the name of Fock Hee Sun Sdn Bhd (“Fock Hee Sun”). The founder, Mr. Low Moi Sang @ Loh Moi Sung, is one of the pioneers in Malaysia commencing tyre retreading industry.
With just 10 employees and equipments comprising of a few presses, Sun Tyre has a humble start. Today, Sun Tyre has built its successes on its commitment to its people, products and services.
Today, Sun Tyre is retreading more than 25,000pcs of tyre casings per month. The retreaded tyres are distributed to and through a network of more than 2,000 independent tyre dealers in Malaysia and Singapore. Sun Tyre retreaded tyres are also being exported to some ASEAN countries.
Sun Tyre views its customer as partners, its successes depend upon assisting customers in achieving their goals. By providing commitment and support to these customers and end users, Sun Tyre earns their loyalty and trust In return.
